Yet another celebrity has been cast under the Trill Burgers spell.
On Tuesday, September 23, during a stop at a Cypress-area Wal-Mart to promote her latest album “Am I The Drama?”, hip-hop superstar Cardi B got a surprise visit from Houston’s own Bun B, legendary rapper and Trill Burgers co-founder, who personally presented her with a Trill Burgers OG burger.
In the exchange, captured on video and shared to social media, Cardi B enthusiastically greeted the legendary rapper who made the trip to the store on Fry Road specifically to gift burgers to her and her team.
As she spotted him, she exclaimed, “All the celebrities eating Trill Burgers, and I’m the only one that hasn’t had one!”
Bun B made sure to solve that problem, and in fine fashion, delivering Cardi B with a specially-designed ‘Am I The Drama?’ Trill Burgers box. “We got you your own box, not many people get their own box. We’re celebrating ‘Am I The Drama?’,” he proudly told her in the clip, that his since gone viral on Instagram.
The custom box was produced exclusively for this moment and came well stocked with an OG Burger built with two smashed all-beef patties, Trill Sauce, pickles, caramelized onions and American cheese on a potato roll bun with crinkle-cut fries.
Cardi B took no time tasting a fry and immediately breaking into a happy dance. Gazing into her phone while streaming to her fans, she said, “I’m gonna eat this burger… Trill Burgers! I know I”m in Texas, but you need to bring it to New York.”

Cardi B is one of few who have had the honor of receiving such a box from Bun B. In the past, a custom box was created for Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson when Trill Burgers served at his official Hall of Fame after party in Canton, Ohio; and another was gifted to Kevin Durant for the “Easy Money Burger” collaboration, held earlier this year.
She now joins the long list of celebrities, including Mike Tyson, Ludacris, Ken Griffey Jr., Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Shaquille O’Neal, DJ Khaled, MGK, Sexxy Red, James Harden, Alex Bregman, JJ Watt, Chance the Rapper, Brooks Koepka, Dave Chappelle, David Hasselhoff—not to mention the countless Houstonians—who are fans of Trill Burgers.
As far as her request of bringing Trill Burger to the Big Apple, Bun B teases, “Our hope is to build Trill Burgers to the point that it would eventually be available all over the country, but for now, we’re focused on Texas.”
