In the wake of the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and the surrounding Texas Hill Country on July 4, Houston chefs and restaurants are banding together to make it easy for locals to offer their support for relief efforts. Some are donating proceeds of their business on designated days, many are accepting donations and supplies onsite, while others are partnering with trusted organizations who have boots on the ground in Kerrville.
When dining out in the days to come, consider this list of Houston-area restaurants aiding in the support of the aftermath of the Hill Country flood. Restaurants will continue to be updated and added throughout the week.
Spec’s locations in Downtown (2410 Smith Street) and in the Woodlands (25010 IH 45 North at Rayford Sawdust) are collecting supplies to support local recovery efforts. Needed items include heavy duty trash bags, work gloves, shovels and rakes, bottled water, shelf-stable snacks, canned food, sports drinks, hygiene products, socks, bug spray, sunscreen, dry pet food, pet leashes and collars.
Beginning Tuesday, July 8, Pier 6 in San Leon, and its sister restaurant Fish Company Taco in Galveston are donating 100% of proceeds from sales of their Texas Lemonade cocktail to the Kerrville Area Rebuilding and Recovery Fund. The drink is crafted with lemonade and sweet tea, blended with a choice of Texas bourbon or vodka for $8, but can be made sans booze for $4.

On Tuesday, July 8, 15% of proceeds from all Willie’s Grill locations will be donated to support Texas Hill Country flood victims.
The Gypsy Poet is donating 100% of its profits from both locations on Tuesday, July 8 to the Kerrville Area Rebuilding and Recovery Fund.
City Cellars is accepting donations of necessary goods and supplies, and gift cards to H-E-B, Walmart, Kroger, Costco at the restaurant on Tuesday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donors will be gifted a $10 gift card to City Cellars to use the remainder of July.
Hopdoddy is donating 100% of its profits made on Wednesday, July 9 to Texas Search and Rescue.
On Wednesday, July 9 from 8 a.m. until midnight, both WILD locations will donate 100% of proceeds from their Maui Mango cocktail to victims of the flooding by way of a fundraiser organized by Texas hemp businesses in Austin. The drink can be made alcohol-free or infused, as an alternative.

On Wednesday, July 9, Axelrad will donate all of its profits to Kerr County Relief Fund and TexSar Search & Rescue.
Best Regards will donate 100% of its profits on Wednesday, July 9 to flood relief efforts in Kerrville.
Both locations of Trill Burgers are donating 100% of its profits on Wednesday, July 9 to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
Sonoma Wine Bar is donating 100% of proceeds from its Thursday, July 10 flight nights at both locations to support flood relief efforts in Kerr County.
On Thursday, July 10, all locations of the Rustic will donate 100% of profits to Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
On Friday, July 11, Rainbow Lodge is featuring a Hill Country burger for Burger Friday for $17, with $3 from each burger donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Like the state of Texas, the Hill Country is a force to be reckoned with, made with a blend of bison, elk and beef ribeye, and topped with chili-fried onion strings and barbecue sauce, and served with Lodge-made potato chips, pickles and smoked mustard. Rainbow Lodge owner Donnette Hansen is matching the donations, and invites others to do the same.

After donating $2,000 from proceeds made on Sunday, July 6, KP’s Kitchen is hosting a second profit share in support of Kerrville and Hunt victims on Saturday, July 12. 100% of profits from both KP’s Kitchen locations, plus 20% of all gift cards sold, will be donated to families affected by the Hill Country floods.
On Sunday, July 13 from 5 to 7 p.m., Gristworkz Pizza is hosting a pizza fest during which guests can pay $15 for all-you-can-eat pizza, with proceeds going directly to the Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country.
Coinciding with its 713 Day festivities, on Sunday, July 13, Bayou Heights Biergarten is donating 100% of proceeds from every Eureka Heights Buckle Bunny beer sold to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. The bar’s sister restaurant Heights Biergarten will do the same on that day.
On Sunday, July 13 ( also Houston’s 713 Day), Heights Bier Garten and Bayou Heights Biergarten are donating 100% of proceeds from every Eureka Heights Buckle Bunny beer sold to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which supports ongoing recovery and rebuilding. The fund is managed by The Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Mutiny in the Heights is donating $1 for every glass of wine sold, and $75 for every case for the remainder of July to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
Through Tuesday, July 15, all three locations of Goode Co. Barbeque are donating 10% of sales from all barbeque and gift card purchases to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

William Price Distilling is accepting any and all donations for flood victims Wednesday through Sunday from open until close through July 20.
Texas-based restaurant group Hai Hospitality has partnered with Mercy Chefs, a non-profit providing chef-prepared meals to disaster victims, volunteers, and first responders. Guests dining at any Loro location in Texas can round up their check to donate to this cause directly, while a portion of sales from all Texas-based locations of Uchi, Uchiba, and Uchiko will go to Mercy Chefs.
$1 from every entree sold at both Traveler’s Table and Traveler’s Cart this week will be donated to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
All three locations of Duck N Bao are donating $1 from every order of their pork soup dumplings to Mercy Chefs through the end of July.
Through Friday, July 11, Pizzana is donating 100% of its net proceeds from its margherita pizza to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
